4th of July marks as one of the most important days in our history: the birth of our nation.
Each year during Independence Day, we honor, remember, and celebrate. After all, it is America’s birthday! Take pride and celebrate as it is for the glory of Lady Liberty.
Although this year’s celebration of our 244th Independence Day may be a little different due to the Covid-19 crisis, we can still commemorate this historic day joyously and safely, through some ways alternatives that you can do.
1. Wear an all American designed apparel
What is a better way to celebrate independence day than wearing an American made and veteran-owned apparel, or sporting red and blue stripes with stars, which symbolizes our love for the country not just on this day but throughout the rest of our lives? You can give out gift cards to your loved ones too.
When you purchase a freedom jersey here, the proceeds of the sale will go to the Wounded Warrior Project to support our injured soldiers, veterans, and those who have been left behind.
2. Honor our Veterans
Celebrating Independence is not Just about parades, fireworks, or live events. It is about keeping Independence Day as an important national holiday and a symbol of patriotism. The sacrifices made on July 4th should not be bound just only by traditions but also by the appreciation of the sacrifices of our new heroes that allow us to get our FREEDOM.
Remember and honor our veterans who put freedom in our freedom. Say a little prayer and give thanks to the fallen. We will not be as free now if it wasn’t because of them.
3. Celebrate with your Family
Since we're all under quarantine and social distancing, you can celebrate independence day within the comfort of your homes for your safety. There are the usual barbeque cookouts in your backyards to bond with your family members, or you can opt-in for a casual family dinner filled with mouth-watering grilled meats, hamburgers, and American designed pastries. There are numerous fun activities that you can do with your family, from listening to your dad or grandpa's stories during his youth or what’s like before through watching patriotic films. The fun doesn't stop just because we're in the middle of a pandemic. America will rise and be great again when this is all over! So don't fret since there's still more to look forward to, especially this independence day.
You can also blast American music classics or patriotic songs to lift the American spirit of your family and your neighbors on that day.
The real American pride cannot be hindered since it is truly in our hearts. This upcoming Independence Day is the perfect time for you to celebrate, wave your flags, and express your love for our country. Let’s take a moment and share it with our loved ones as well!
